FSM – Frequency-Specific Microcurrent

Frequency-Specific Microcurrent (FSM) applies very low electrical currents through conductive contacts while paired frequencies are selected by a trained practitioner. At RAIKO it is explored as an emerging, non-invasive approach within a wider plan that also considers sleep, stress, movement, hydration, pacing and appropriate medical care. The evidence is still developing, so we distinguish clinical experience and manufacturer education from independent proof.

CustomCare for guided home use
CustomCare device: €2,500. Optional PEMF converter: +€2,500. Home support includes the required course, device setup and practical onboarding, programmes selected according to the agreed home-use plan, access to relevant My RAIKO learning resources and ongoing guidance. The optional converter enables a compatible CustomCare system to also be used for PEMF applications.

FSM: Applications and Evidence
Frequency-Specific Microcurrent (FSM) delivers very small electrical currents through conductive contacts, using paired frequencies. CustomCare and PrecisionCare belong to this approach. Within a whole-person plan, practitioner-selected sessions may complement movement, pacing, sleep and appropriate rehabilitation.
Applications and potential effects
-
Muscle soreness: a small controlled study reported reduced delayed-onset soreness after exercise.
-
Discomfort and tissue mobility: clinical reports describe improvement, but stronger controlled studies are needed.
-
Hand function and Raynaud symptoms: explored in a small systemic-sclerosis pilot; these findings remain preliminary.
-
Cellular ATP: a laboratory study found increased ATP in rat skin exposed to low electrical currents. It did not test human FSM treatment, CustomCare or PrecisionCare.
Relaxation may be a subjective experience, but increased endorphin production or euphoria is not an established FSM outcome. The rat-skin ATP finding cannot establish a predictable ATP increase or clinical benefit in people.
