iCare: App-Guided PEMF for Home Use

iCare combines a phone app with a compact PEMF pad. A trained practitioner can assign and update frequency protocols remotely, while the client follows clear setup, positioning and safety guidance at home. RAIKO treats iCare as a supported wellbeing tool within an agreed plan—not as a diagnostic device, a cure or a replacement for appropriate healthcare.

Home-use learning and ongoing support

Every iCare plan includes the required home-use course, device setup and practical onboarding. Programmes can be selected and updated remotely where appropriate, with continued access to relevant learning materials, guidance and device-use support through My RAIKO.

How iCare Works, Evidence and Responsible Use

iCare uses pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) delivered through a compact pad, with programmes selected through its connected platform. In a whole-person plan, it can be considered alongside movement, rest and practitioner-guided rehabilitation goals.

Applications and potential effects

  • Musculoskeletal comfort: other PEMF devices have been studied for osteoarthritis pain and stiffness, with mixed results.

  • Physical function: some reviews report short-term improvements; outcomes depend on the condition and treatment parameters.

  • Recovery and relaxation routines: discuss the intended goal and programme with your practitioner, and track how you respond.

These findings do not establish the same benefits for iCare. We have not identified a peer-reviewed clinical trial of this particular device. Increased cellular ATP, endorphin production or euphoric feelings should not be presented as established iCare effects.
